: With its ambience,
atmosphere and feeling, Saint Sulpice gives you the sense
of well being. Its historical surroundings inspired
writers, philosophers, and painters, one of them was Eugene
Delacroix Its outstanding mural fresco known as " Chapelle
des Anges" (Angel's Chapel) can be seen in the church.
You will also appreciate the time taken to stroll within the
peaceful XVIIth & XVIIIth century streets nearby, where
you will see clothing stores of the most well known designers,
and French publishers, who have taken refuge away from busy
and noisy boulevards.
Than, a bit further on, following the gentle water noises
of the Fontaine des 4 points Cardinaux (Cardinal Points Fountain)
on the Saint Sulpice Plaza, allow yourself a visit to the Eugene
Delacroix Museum, and coming out of, indulge on a walk through
the Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg gardens).
